Catching Mice
We finally received the “live trap” mouse trap from “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals” so that we can get rid of the mice we have in our house. I followed the instructions that came with the trap and within fifteen minutes had captured the first mouse. Here’s a photo:

We knew that we had at least two mice because we saw two different sizes of mice running around the living room. So, I set the trap again and caught another mouse within about thirty minutes. This one was about the same size as the first so I figured we must have at least three of them so I kept setting the trap, catching mice and then releasing them out in the middle of a field across the street from our house which is their natural habitat. Over a twenty four hour period we caught eight mice. That was about two weeks ago and we have only caught one more since then.
I sure do miss having them around.

Thanks Ronnie, I am going to look into this trap. Sounds like a great way to catch them without hurting them.
